Donna H. Farrar

Donna H. Farrar, 71, of Independence, KY, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019. Beloved wife of Daniel Farrar for 50 years; loving mother of Bryce (Thania) and Darren (Kelly) Farrar; dear grandmother of Evan, Emma and Emery; loving daughter of Ethel and the late Alvie Hall; dear sister of Judy Tennant, Betty Jones and Randy Hall; cherished aunt and great-aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Donna was a beautiful person who always cared more for others than her own personal interests. Between being a homemaker and working for multiple companies over the years, she somehow never missed a chance to support her family's professional, scholastic and sports activities. In recent years, Donna particularly loved spending time with her young grandchildren.

Some of Donna's favorite pastimes included watching scary movies, cheering the KY Wildcats and making the casino slot machines rain!

Donna fought a more than courageous 3-year battle against cancer. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society by copying and pasting the following address into your web browser:

Friends will be received 09:30 – 11:00 AM Friday at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Hwy, Erlanger, KY where funeral services will be held immediately thereafter at 11:00 AM. Interment is at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery North.
