Mr. Willie J. Jackson, Jr. was born on April 11, 1965 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the union of the late Willie J., Sr. and Essie Jackson. He was the first born of four to this union. He departed this life on July 1, 2021. Where as God in his infinite wisdom welcomed him home,. He confessed Christ at an early age. He was preceded in death by his only sister, Victoria Jackson.
Willie attended Taft High School where he excelled in basketball and played football for the neighborhood house where he averaged two touchdowns a game in a season. Willie was very athletic.
Willie worked many jobs, one of them being a great chef, especially grilling; he was a jack of all trades. He was a family man who loved styling and profiling, he had a way with words and a great sense of humor. He had many sayings such as: "a hungry cook is a dumb cook!" and "What!!" Willie had a story with everyone and anyone that he talked to, which will be remembered forever.
Willie married Marlo Smith and to this union one son was born, Maizon Jackson. He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his wife, Marlo, brothers, Anthony and Ronald Jackson, one uncle, Clarence D. Mixon, Sr., sons, Willie, Raeshaun, Maizon, Nysjean, Nikko, Michael, Shawn and Shatwan, daughter Janell, nieces and nephews, Lashanda, Tyesha, Ronniesha, Rashawn, Sierra, Sharonna, Shantel, Tyshawn (Dedra), Brandon (Brianna), Tonia, Dorian, and Dior, life long loving companion, Tina Johnson, step-father, Randy Wright (Pops) and a host of other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held Friday July 23, 2021 from 10am - 11am with a service to follow at Newcomer Funeral Home 7830 Hamilton Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45231.
