Rachel Elizabeth Thomas

Rachel Elizabeth Thomas, age 36, of Colerain Township, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2023. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 8, 1986 to Richard Thomas and Laura Pies-Thomas.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Edward Thomas; uncles, Paul Thomas and Stephen Merz; and aunt, Jan Pies. Rachel is survived by her loving parents, Richard Thomas and Laura Pies-Thomas; sisters, Jessica (Jeffrey Gabbard) Hutchinson and Holly (Mark) Love; nieces, Haley Hutchinson and Peyton Hutchinson; grandparents, Edward (Patricia) Pies and Christina (Rodger) Crauder; aunts and uncles, Runita Thomas, John (Marylynn) Thomas, Mary (Ken) Burnett, Wendy Schalk, David (Marybeth) Pies, Sherry Grimstead, Lisa Smith; family friends, Bob Millikin and Sheila; and a host of other family members and friends.

Rachel was an absolutely amazing cook, she enjoyed working at La Petite Pierre, as well as other restaurants in the area. She would also work alongside her dad doing lawncare work. Rachel was a big fan of the show, The Walking Dead, and playing video games in her free time. She was very close with her friends and would do anything for them.

Memorial Service will be 7:00 pm Tuesday, January 10, 2023 with a visitation from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.
