Thomas Anthony Costello, age 87, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on February 11, 1935, to Edward and Marcella Costello (nee Reuter).
He was preceded in death by his Father, Edward Costello, Mother, Marcella Costello, Brother, Edward Costello, Jr. Thomas is survived by his beloved Wife of 56 years, Vera Costello (nee Wolfram); Son, Anthony Thomas (Lauren) Costello; Daughter, Julie Ann (Douglas) Smith; Grandchildren, Jessica (Ryan) Neiheisel, Joshua (Emma) Costello, Emma (Luke) Glenn, Kellie Smith, Alexander (Elizabeth) Smith; Great-grandchildren, Natalie, Holden, and George; Sister, Mary (Robert) Wurtzler; and a host of other family members and friends.
Tom enjoyed watching and playing golf throughout his adult life and was an avid reader. He especially enjoyed spy novels.
A visitation will be held Thursday, February 2, 2023, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home 3300 Parkcrest Lane Cincinnati, OH. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 am Friday, February 3, 2023, at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Catholic Church, 4366 Bridgetown Rd. Cincinnati, OH, with a visitation in the Tekulve room at St. Aloysius Gonzaga Catholic Church prior to Mass starting at 9:30 am.
