Richard Allan Jones

Richard Allan Jones age 75, of Burlington, Kentucky passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 20, 1948 to Charles and Betty J. White (nee Brewer). Richard enjoyed fishing, fly tying, gardening, and was an avid reader. He loved traveling to Florida and seeing the beach. Most of all he enjoyed photography and turned it into the business Birds Plus More Nature Photography, that he did with his wife. Richard was a Campbell County Republican Chairman from 1971 to 1975. He was a Deacon at Northern Ky Baptist Church while also serving as a sound engineer and greeter on Sunday mornings.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Jones, mother, Betty J. White, aunt, Joye Perkins, and aunt, Marjorie Davis. Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret Jones, brother-in-law, Thomas (Debbie) Keil, nephew, Alan (Monique) Keil, nephew, Randy Keil, niece, Laura (Steve) Southwick, 10 great nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held Thursday, November 9, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Northern Ky Baptist Church, 2681 Turkeyfoot Road, Lakeside Park, Kentucky 41017. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation at 6:00 pm. Burial will take place Friday, November 10, 2023 at 11:00 am at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, 5336 Old Taylor Mill Road, Covington, Kentucky 41015
