Albert Lonzo Meadows, age 77 of Cincinnati passed away at the Drake Center / Vitas Hospice on Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 8:50 PM. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 15, 1934 the son of Lester Sr. and Molly (Pauly) Meadows. Albert was employed as a machine operator with Proctor and Gamble for over 19 years. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Fairfield, Ohio. On August 28, 1956 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana he was married to Viola "Vickie" Henges.
He is survived by his wife of over 54 years Viola "Vickie" Meadows of Cincinnati; a son, Larry Wayne Meadows and his wife Sharon of Maineville, Ohio; two daughters, Debbie Beckelhymer and her husband John of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Pam Brabender and her husband Dave of Ross, Ohio; six grandchildren, Larry, Chad, Amy, John, Jason, and Ben; four great-grandchildren, Braden, Maddie, Tyler, and Tanner; a brother, Lester Meadows Jr. and his wife Shirley of Somerset, Kentucky; three sisters, Margie Fields and Patsy Parker, both of Liberty, Kentucky, and Mary Katherine Allen of Cade's Cove, Tennessee; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Molly Meadows; and a sister, Delores Naytor.
Funeral service will be held at the Newcomer Funeral Home 7830 Hamilton Ave., on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 2:00 PM with Bishop Russell Striebeck of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Fairfield, Ohio. Cremation will follow services. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
