Alfreda Casey was born June 8 1929 to parents John and Henrietta Williams in Yazoo City, Mississippi. After moving to Cincinnati, she met and married Noble W. Casey Jr. That union lasted nearly 61 years.
Alfreda dedicated her life to Jehovah God and symbolized her dedication through water baptism on January 2, 1972.
On July 25, 2012, Alfreda fell asleep in death at the age 83. Alfreda had a real hope in the resurrection (Acts 24:15). That hope will now serve to comfort the many who loved her.
Alfreda leaves her daughter Carol (Marty) Newman. Her two sons: Reginald Casey and Kenneth Casey, seven grandchildren Toni (Malcolm) Allen, Deena Casey, Ronald Thomas Jr., Elizabeth (Nathan) Niesz, Elaina Ebbing, Katie Casey, Tara Casey and seven great grandchildren. Brother: Ray Williams. Sister: Teddie McCray, and a host of family and friends.
Alfreda is preceded in death by her husband Noble W. Casey Jr., son Julius H. Casey, grandson: Julius Casey II., brothers: Robert Lee Williams, Joseph Williams.
From an early age Alfreda, learned to be a hard worker in the cotton fields of the South. Alfreda was always a nurturing person, there to lend a helping hand when needed. She is well known for her hospitality, delicious meals and sewing and tons of house plants. And most of all she was known for her words of wisdom on marriage to fellow witnesses at the Kingdom Hall.
