Alice Jane Franz
March 4, 1932 — May 7, 2024
Alice Jane Franz aged 92 passed peacefully on May 7, 2024 after 5 months illness. She was born in Gustine, California to John and Gloria Rozeira. Her siblings John P. Rozeira, Edwin P. Rozeira, Mary J. Errington and nephew Ernest Keahey died previously.
She is survived by her son Edward Franz (Kimberly), her granddaughter Katherine Sallee (Jeremy) and grandson Owen. She is also survived by her nieces Mary Benevidez and Gail Ward, nephew George Errington along with many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
Alice worked for over 25 years in the canneries in the Santa Clara Valley and for 10 years as a housekeeper for the Fairmont Hotel in San Jose, California. In 1999, she moved to Kentucky to live with her son, daughter-in-law, and granddaughter.
Alice loved cowboys, horses, earrings, make-up, Nice and Easy #6R, hairspray, cleaning products, and See's candy. She enjoyed letter writing to family and friends all over, working in the yard and was an avid bus taker. Her favorite TV channel was ABC, and her favorite show was General Hospital at 2pm each weekday.
