Alma D. Godsey, age 89, of Ripley, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. She was born in Zag, Kentucky on April 2, 1934 to Garland and Pearl Leach (nee Barnett). Alma enjoyed sewing blankets and quilts, as well as other crafts and gardening. Alma was a country girl. She was a generous woman, always eager to help anybody in need. Most of all, Alma loved her family, she was everyone's biggest supporter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Melva, brother, Garland, and brother, Ray. Alma is survived by her daughter, Elana Godsey, son, George Godsey, son, Steven Godsey, son, Edward Godsey, brothers, Danny and Mike, half-sister, Gladys, grandchildren, Clea, Stephanie, Whitney, Griffin, great-grandchildren, Armando, Cecilla, Jonathan, Alexis, Noah, Nathaniel, and Carter; and a host of other family members and friends.
