Alvin Thompson

THOMPSON, Alvin D. age 83, of Lincoln Heights, Ohio passed away on Sunday, September 28, 2014. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 18, 1931 to Willie Brewster and Cleo Thompson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Brewster, and Mother Cleo Thompson; daughter, Laverne Ware; son, James Smith; sisters, Norma Jean Steele, Pauline Wagner, Helen Harris, and Barbara Brewster; brothers, Alfred Brewster, and Jerry Brewster.

Alvin is survived by his beloved wife of 13 years, Paulette A. Thompson (nee Vick); children, Vernon Ware, Johnny Ware, Alvin (Betty) Ware, Charles Thompson, Michael (Patricia) Jackson, Michelle Smith, Jawari Porter, Theresa Williams, Troy Porter, Vincent Porter and Jeffrey Rawling; 24 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Willie (Mary) Brewster, Charles (Mamie) Brewster, David (Micky) Brewster, Ronald Brewster, Daniel (Joyce) Brewster, Naomi Brewster, Esther Saturday, Carolyn Brewster, Geraldine Brewster; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other family members and friends.
