Alyne Davis was born January 31, 1932 in Indianola, Mississippi to the late Ben and Sallie Chambers. She departed this life Monday, February 2, 2015.
She was joined in Holy Matrimony to the late Walter Lee Davis of Itta Bena, Mississippi. Accepting Christ at an early age and moving to Cincinnati, she joined New Christian Life Baptist Church, where she was a long time member.
Loving, strong, dedicated and hard-working, Alyne was employed and retired from the Shriners Burn Hospital. She loved taking care of children.
Alyne is survived by: daughter, Doilene Davis; stepsons, James Davis, Maurice Davis; grandchildren, Derrick D. (Denisha) Davis, Tiffanie (Gilbert) Stallings, Tyrone Davis; great-grandchildren, Derrick Jr., Talasia, Dymond, Drayden, Brittany, Jahan, Jerien; great great-grandchild, Brayden; brother, J.C. Chambers of Mississippi; sister-in-law, Georgia Chambers of St. Louis.
