Amanda Ellen Middleton

Middleton, Amanda Ellen age 85, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Monday, November 2, 2021. She was born in Barboursville, Kentucky on October 11, 1936 to Victor and Ollie Barnes Sr. (nee Messer).

Amanda was devoted to her family, friends and church. She loved cooking, making quilts and best of all fishing. She could catch'em when no one else could.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Edward Middleton; her sister, Patricia Ann Weaver; her brother, Victor Barnes Jr.; and her grandson, Delbert Roy Rhoten.

Amanda is survived by her beloved daughter, Debra K. Middleton; her son, David W. (Tonya) Middleton; her granddaughters, Raven (Aaron) Arp and Amanda H. Middleton; her grandson, Michael James Middleton; her great-granddaughter, Skylar Finch; her great-grandsons, Van Finch and Kingstyn Stone; her sister, Dorothy (Jimmy) McKnight; her brother, Raymond Barnes; her brother-in-law, Rodney Weaver; her sister-in-law, Patsy Barnes Weaver and many nieces, nephews and loving church friends and neighbors.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 11:30 am until the time of service at 1:30 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens. Celebration of life will follow at Paducah Baptist Church, 6859 Paducah Avenue, Hamilton, Ohio 45011.
