Andrew Boris Alexander, beloved son of Reverend Andrew and Viola Alexander (Rivers) was born in Columbus, Georgia on October 30, 1969. He departed from this life on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at the age of 52.
Andrew accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized at Mount Olive Baptist Church in Phenix City, Alabama. Andrew later relocated to Ohio, graduating from Aiken High School in 1988. Upon graduating high school, Andrew attended Cincinnati State where he received a certificate in business. Andrew worked as a teacher's aide for the Cincinnati Public School District for three years. He later worked for the U.S. Postal Service for six years, later becoming a track inspector for CSX for twenty years.
Andrew was known for gardening, hunting, and fishing. He will be remembered most for his sense of humor and devotion to his family and friends.
Andrew is survived by his beloved wife, Zaklyn Alexander (Kelley); parents; Reverend Andrew (Victoria) and Viola Alexander; children, Andrew B. Alexander, Jr., Ashley M. Alexander and Amber L. M. Alexander; grandchildren, Andrew Boris Alexander, III, Justice Alexander, Aaliyah Alexander-Lowe, Marvin Lowe, Jr. and Zakai A. Alexander; siblings, Bernard Welborn, Benita (Darnell) Dawson and April Alexander; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other family members and friends.
A visitation will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm with a service to follow at Bethlehem Baptist Church, 760 North Fred Shuttlesworth Circle, Cincinnati, Ohio 45229. Burial will take place immediately following at Spring Grove Cemetery.
