Andrew Lee Logan passed at the age of 63, on Sunday, July 15, 2012 in Drake Vitas Hospice Center.
Andrew was born on August 25, 1948 in Pickshin, WV to Mr. William James Logan, Sr. and Mrs. Elizabeth Louise Logan. He attended Stoco High School in Besoco, WV. He joined the U.S. Navy where he served a four year tour stationed in Newport News, VA.
Andrew Logan resided in the Manor House on Johnstown Road in Beckley, WV until he ventured to Cincinnati, OH to continue his fight with cancer. He was very strong and determined to trust God's will.
He was preceded in death by his father and four brothers, Johnny Logan, Leonard Logan, Ray Logan and Beverly Logan. His mother now resides at Clovernook Nursing Center, Cincinnati, OH at the age of 92.
Andrew Logan was a member of Second Baptist Church in Beckley, WV where Rev. R. Poindexter is Pastor.
Andrew was the father of a son, Lee Logan and a granddaughter , Gabriel who now resides in Alabama.
Andrew Lee Logan was survived by 2 brothers, Williams James Logan, Jr. and Edward Leroy Venable; three sisters, Lorean Woods, Betty Logan and Mary Logan and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Andrew's favorite pass times were, the lottery, listening to oldies but goodies, and surfing the internet.
He was a very talented and gifted individual who shared his expertise in repairing just about anything for friends and family. Cars were his favorite subject because he could take one apart and put it back together.
Funeral service for Andrew Lee Logan, age 63 of Cincinnati, will be Saturday, July 28, 2012 at 3:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home - Hamilton Chapel. Rev. Wilma Jackson will officiate.
