Angelo "Sam" Romani, age 92, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022. He was born in Lucca, Italy on February 15, 1929 to Joseph and Hilda Romani (nee Agostini).
He was preceded in death by his father, his mother, his first wife, Jean Elfers Romani, his second wife, Marcella Finke-Romani, his daughter, Linda Romani, his brothers, Raymond and Julius Romani and his sisters Dalma Romani and Audrey Saskowsky.
Sam is the father of Jeffery (Sherry) Romani and Jennifer (Mike) McLaughlin. He is the step-father of Gail (Tim) Virgin, Judi (Denny) VanDriessche, Jayne (Tom) Linneman, Tom (Susan) Finke, and Mike (Nancy) Finke. Sam has 19 Grandchildren and 26 Great Grandchildren.
He was a retired draftsman for the Wm Powell Valve Company, working there for over 30 years. He finished his working days as "Honest Sam the Car Sales Man" at Stillpass Lincoln-Mercury / Honda. Sam was a member of the Sons of Italy and the Halker-Flege Post 69, American Legion.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 2, 2022 from 9:30 AM until the funeral mass at 10:30 AM in St. Martin of Tours Church, Cheviot. Burial, with Military Honors, will follow in Crown Hill Memorial Park.
THE FAMILY REQUESTS THAT GUEST TO THE CHURCH SERVICE TO PLEASE WEAR A MASK.
