Ann Daniels

Ann Daniels  Daniels, age 96, of Cincinnati, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Brookwood Retirement Community where she had been a resident for 13 years . Born on July 7, 1928, in Casey County, Kentucky, she was the cherished daughter of Samuel and Martha Patten (nee Rodgers).

Ann was preceded in death by her father, Samuel Patten; her mother, Martha Patten; her brother, Thaddeus W. Rodgers; her sister, Laverne Hughes; and her brother, Samuel L. Patten. 

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Carolyn Wheeler; her sons, Michael (Kristie) Shriver, Duwayne (Susan) Shriver, Donald (Rovonda) Daniels, and Wendell (Kim) Daniels. Additionally, she leaves behind a legacy of family, including 13 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Ann had a passion for reading, enjoyed listening to country music, and loved to dance. Above all, her greatest joy was her family, especially her grandchildren.

A funeral ceremony will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, with a visitation preceding from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, located at 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
