She was an active member of St. Martin’s parish for over 60 years as well as their many ministries. Her reverence for the Holy Eucharist, and the Holy Family inspired those around her with whom she actively shared this love.
Whether caring for her siblings as the big sister, as a loving wife to her husband Heinz throughout their 55 years of marriage, or raising her six children, Ann placed the needs of others ahead of her own. This was most visibly observed in her constant care for their daughter Linda.
Ann enjoyed lifelong relationships with good friends, entertaining in her home, cooking for holiday gatherings with family, passing along family history, and sharing stories of all sorts. She actively supported the interests of Heinz and her children, reveling in the accomplishments of her family and friends. Encouraging all to strive for higher things, while reminding them to be grateful for these blessings bestowed by a loving and faithful God.
