Anna Melzer, (née Hasselbeck) beloved wife of the late Burton Melzer. Born July 16, 1928 and died December 15, 2021.
Anna was the proud and loving mother of 7 children: Cheryl (Jay), Ed ( Lynn), Faye ( Paul) Roch, Gina (Bob) Weitzel, Hugh (Paula), Ian. and the late Donna (Tom) Breehne.
Extremely proud grandma to 21 grandchildren: Melissa, Aaron, Jonathan, Jeremy, Jacob, Rachael, Robert, Jared, Burt, Tony, Kevin, Jenna, Chris, Annie, Elizabeth, Burke, Alden, Hudson, Eli, Croslie and Clare.
Great Grandma to 28 great grandchildren.
Anna was the housestaff coordinator at Children's Hospital Medical Center for many years and was very proud to be called "mom" by the many pediatric residents and their families.
She was devoted to her Catholic faith as a member of St. Ignatius of Loyola Parish and was involved in the Seniors group, the bereavement committee and Cursillo.
Funeral services were held privately.
