Anthony "Tony" S. Gideon

Anthony "Tony" Sean Gideon, age 53, of Independence, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024. Born in San Francisco, California on January 19, 1971, Tony was a dedicated family man with a deep love for his wife, Cathy Gideon, and their children.

Tony was an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan and cherished the moments spent fishing. He had a strong sense of pride for his country and valued the time he spent with loved ones. His commitment to his family was evident throughout his life, as he worked tirelessly to provide for them. Tony devoted over ten years of his career to RES Trucking, serving as an inventory manager.

He is preceded in death by his son, Sean Gideon, II, and his mother, Drucilla Gideon. Tony is survived by his beloved wife, Cathy Gideon; his daughter, Evan (Scott) Shouse; his son, Cole Gideon; his brother, David (Julie) Gideon; his sister, Kelly Wong; and his granddaughters, Aliyah Gideon and Lynnlee Shouse, along with many nieces and nephews he loved dearly. 

A funeral ceremony will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, with a visitation from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, KY 41018.
