Arnold A. Tye, Jr

Arnold A. Tye, Jr. (known to us all as June), age 71, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama on December 25, 1950 to Arnold and Theola Tye (nee Walker).

He was preceded in death by his mother and father; his son, Arnold D. Gee; sister, Deborah Stewart; and brother, Antonio Tye.

Arnold attended Cutter Jr. High School, and later went on to work in the laundry department at Jewish Hospital. He was a die hard Bengals fan. Arnold loved having his family and friends around. He was a very caring, funny, helpful and warm hearted person.

He leaves to mourn but to cherish his memories his siblings, Donald and Pam Tye, Greg and Angie Tye, Keith Tye, George Tye, Theolla Fleming, Roy Tye, Darlene Tye, and Jaequeline Tye; children, Shontay L. Gee, Rahman Rucker, Doneaka Brooks, Adrienn Tye, Arnold Daniels, Shezella Crawford, and "Markia" Marky; girlfriend, Shelby Byrd; and long time family friend, Miss Loretta Burns.

Visitation will be Friday, October 28, 2022, at Newcomer Funeral Home, West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati (45211) from 1:00 PM until the funeral service at 3:00 PM. Burial will be at a later date.
