Arthur Smith

Smith, Arthur age 69, of Erlanger, Kentucky passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2023. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on July 3, 1954 to the late Arthur and Gertrude Smith (nee Palmer).

He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Jerry Smith, Melvin Smith and Sue Smith. Art is survived by his beloved wife of 17 years, Colleen Smith (nee Guy); sons, Arthur (Tanesha) Smith, III, and J.D. DuBose; step-son, Shaun Smith; sister, Carletta (Tony) Moore; sister-in-law, Joyce Smith; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a host of other family members and friends.

Art was an avid sports fan, cheering on the Reds, Bengals, Bearcats and Lakers. He was a great cook. He retired from Bluegrass Meats after over 25 years.

A visitation will be held Saturday, September 2, 2023 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm followed by a service at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018. A Reception will be held following the service at American Legion post 4, 8385 U.S. Hwy 42, Florence, KY 41042 from 1pm - 5pm for all to attend.
