Audrey Manning

Audrey Catherine Manning, age 85, of Erlanger, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. Born March 30, 1939, in Mooleyville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Maurice D. Manning and Mary E. Manning (Staples).

Audrey was known for her love of reading and her passion for solving crosswords and had a fondness for chewing ice. She cherished the many trips to Gatlinburg with her family. Music played an important role in her life; she enjoyed listening to both country and Christian music.

In her early years, Audrey spent time in Peru as a nun and dedicated herself to teaching while living in Puerto Rico, reflecting her commitment to education and service to others. Once returning to the states, she spent many years teaching special education at Ockerman Elementary School.

She is preceded in death by her parents. Audrey is survived by her children, Mary Anne Manning, Marcia Manning, Loki Manning; sister-in-law, Rosie (Joseph) Manning; grandson, Brandin Van Braam; granddaughter, Alexandra Van Braam; and a host of other family members and friends who will remember her fondly.
