Barbara Martin

November 20, 1943 — July 23, 2022

Barbara Ann Martin, age 78, of Sharonville, Ohio passed away on Saturday, July 23rd, 2022. She was born in St. Louis, Missouri on November 20th, 1943 to the late Robert and Eleanor Nold.

She grew up in Greenhills, Ohio on Gambier Circle, just houses down from her husband, Paul. She went on to graduate from Greenhills High School. She enjoyed many things, but some of her favorites were drag racing, NASCAR, and any thing that involved racing cars. Paul, her husband and best friend, spent their honeymoon at Road Atlanta and many Saturday nights at Lawrenceburg Speedway watching her favorite driver, Jeff Gordon, since he was only 15 years old. She loved making wreaths for family and friends, she loved making different flower arrangements, and crafts. She was also probably one of the biggest Elvis fans out there. In her younger days, she loved taking walks at Sharon Woods and spending time at the Greenhills bowling alley. She was known to many as Grammy and was the most loving Grammy there could be to many grandchildren and her loyal dog, Scooby.

She is preceded in death by her son, John Paul Martin. She is survived by her beloved husband of 50 years, Paul Martin; son, Eddie; grandchildren, Austin (Jessica), Ed (Greer), Lorna, Corey (Phylicia), Maria, Eli, Lake; great-grandchildren, Emmett, Kayden, Hazel. She will be missed by all and remembered as the best Grammy there could be every single day.
