Barbara S. Sanders, born March 13, 1940, left for her eternal resting place in heaven at 83 years young, on May 21, 2023.
"Barb, Barbie Doll, Momo" will be missed with great sadness by her family and friends.
Barb is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Sanders, her parents Raymond and Elizabeth Getts (nee Tuemler), and her siblings, Bill Getts, Betty Davis, Carol Ann Getts and Robert Eugene Getts.
She was an amazing mother to Brian (Julie) Sanders, and Brent Sanders, a loving partner to her companion of 17 years, Jim Green, a very devoted Momo to her beloved grandson, Gage Sanders, and a devoted sister of Jeanne Quinn. She was a loving aunt to her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Barbara was an avid golfer, loved to travel to Hilton Head and Marco Island. She was a loyal member of St Martin Parish. Barb took great pride in caring for her family. She will be sadly missed on this earth, but we know she is rejoicing with the angels in heaven.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 30, 2023 in St Martin of Tours Church, Cheviot, (3720 St Martin Place, at the Glenmore Ave corner) from 9:30 AM until the funeral mass at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in New St Joseph Cemetery.
