Barbara Schmerr, age 75, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023. She was born in Covington, Kentucky on February 5, 1948 to Robert and Esther Simpson (nee Sowers).
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Douglas and her brother, Robert.
Barbara is survived by her son Jamal Schmerr.
Barbara worked for many years at Drake Hospital, Riverview Community and the Sisters of Charity Motherhouse.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 1:00 pm until the Memorial Service at 2:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
