Barbara Ann Shad

Barbara Ann Shad, age 68, of Clifton, Ohio passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024. She was born to Raymond and Betty Shad (nee Siebenthaler).

Barbara was the fiancé of the late Terry Withers, and the loving sister of Michael (the late Shelley) Shad, Pamela Martinez, Paula Shad, Jeffrey (Becky) Shad, Carla Shad, and John Shad. Beloved aunt of Kimberly (Mark) Kelley, the late Denny Lentz Jr., Sydney Martinez, Michael Jr. (Jennifer) Shad, Bridgette (Billy )Harris, Lindsey (Raf) Bloise, Danielle Shad, Alyssa Shad, Timmy Moore, John E. Shad Jr, Leah Shad, Denise (Bubby) Suesz, Vicky (Tim) Worley, loving Great Aunt & Godmother to James C. Schmidt. She leaves behind many cousins, great-nieces, and nephews. Loving daughter of the late Raymond & Betty (Siebenthaler) Shad, best friend of the late Kimber Lee Setters.

Born on December 31, 1955, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the second of seven children and the oldest daughter. She spent her working years as a bartender and server in the downtown and Clifton areas. Barbara’s great passion was her love of animals she had many dogs and cats over the years, they were her furry kids, there was Andy, Milton, Louie, Dolly, Yogi, and George to name a few. Barbara loved sewing, growing plants, country music, taking pictures, having a good time, and well I would be remiss if I didn’t say she loved her beer. We will all love and miss her today and all the days to come.

Funeral Service will be 1:00 pm Saturday, March 2, 2024, with a visitation from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
