Wilson, Beecher "Whitey" age 87, passed away peacefully at Hospice of Cincinnati on Saturday, February 15, 2014. Whitey was the oldest of four sons and four daughters born to Elva and Joseph Wilson in Cincinnati, Ohio. He served in the US Army from 1943 to 1947 in the Pacific theater. After an honorable discharge, Whitey met his future and loving wife Thelma Pfeiffer in Cincinnati.
He was a life time member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and was bestowed with the honor of Commander of VFW Post 1069 of Fairfield, Ohio. He loved his family and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren.
Whitey is survived by his wife of 66 years, Thelma Farrell Wilson and his two children, Joseph (Karen) Wilson of West Chester, Ohio and Judy (Gary) Fightmaster of Lawrenceburg, Indiana. Also survived by four grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, two siblings and a granddaughter.
