Ben Delaine Sr.

Ben passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Jewish Hospital. He was born on May 9, 1928 in Cuba, Alabama to Allie Parker Delaine and Pallee Delaine (nee Grant). He was an active member of Mt Zion Baptist Church, 10180 Woodlawn Blvd., Woodlawn, Ohio 45215.

He is survived by his daughter, Sonia Yvette Delaine of Cincinnati; daughter, Cynthia Paulette Delaine of Cincinnati; son, Ben William Delaine, Jr. of Cincinnati; son, Rev. Stephen Jerome (Cassandra)Delaine of Atlanta; daughter, Valerie Lynne (Willis) Cox of Cincinnati son, James Virgil Delaine of Cincinnati. Ben will be missed by a host of family and friends.

Funeral service for Ben William Delaine Sr., age 84 of Cincinnati, will be Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 7:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church,10180 Woodlawn Blvd., Woodlawn, Ohio 45215.
Rev. Dr. T. Scott Swan I will officiate. Burial will follow in Cuba, Alabama. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 27, 2012 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mt Zion Baptist Church, 10180 Woodlawn Blvd., Woodlawn, Ohio 45215.
