Bettie Mack, age 86, of Detroit, Michigan, peacefully passed away on December 19, 2024. Born on July 7, 1938, in Detroit, MI. Betty was 1 of 10 children and was the second child born to William and Betty Clark (nee Tomlin).

Bettie was preceded in death by her parents, William and Betty Clark, and her beloved husband, John L. Mack; siblings, Zenoma, Kenneth, William (Billy), Charles and James (Jimmy). She is survived by her daughters, Regina (BJ) Robinson, Valerie Payne, and Doreen (William) Beckham. Also remembering her with love are her grandchildren, Cynthia, Brandon, Langston, Sheldon, Amanda, Brianna, and Carissa; and her great-grandchildren, Anaya, Brandon, Elijah, Isreal, Jordan, Landon, Micah, and Zion. Bettie is also survived by her sisters, Fatima Respress, Victoria Barksdale, Phyllis Ward, and her brother, Curtis Clark, along with a host of other family members and friends.

Bettie had a passion for crafting, enjoying activities such as sewing, crocheting, knitting, and quilting. Bettie loved plants and flowers. She loved to decorate and shop the latest fashion in clothing and jewelry. Bettie was an active member of her church community, where she delighted in playing her tambourine. She also enjoyed watching western movies, game shows, and mysteries. Bettie enjoyed working out, walking along the Detroit River Walk, playing volleyball and bowling. 

In loving memory of Bettie, contributions can be made to Queen City Hospice or Montage Mason.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
