Obituary
Betty Jean Bailey, age 64 a native of Cincinnati's West End, was called home by our Heavenly Father in comfort on Friday, December 2, 2011 at 6:50 AM. Betty was the loving daughter of Mr. Robert Gadson and Ms. Dorothy Moore. She was baptized at the age of 8 years old and then attended Living Testimony Church International. Betty attended Hay's Elementary, Porter Jr. High, and Taft High schools. She received her GED while being a loving and devoted mother to her 3 young sons. Once her son's grew up she decided to further her education and went to school to become a nursing assistant from the University of Cincinnati. This was a natural choice for Betty giving her love to wanting to care for other people. Betty became a woman with a bright and loving spirit, that touched so many during her lifetime. Betty was bold yet down to earth. Ms. Bailey shared her wisdom and knowledge of the loving word with all those she met.
She leaves behind to cherish her, 3 sons, Freddy ( fiancé Deanna Huddleston), Joseph (Helen) Brooks, and Ian (Chantinni) Bailey, all of Cincinnati; three siblings, her eldest brother, Freddy Moore, younger brother, Donald Moore, and his sister, Louise Austin, all of Cincinnati; Betty's joy in life were her 5 grandchildren, Michael, Stephen, Latasha, LaShaunda, Keara; 3 great-grandchildren, Mykeel, Malachi, and Alyssa. She is also survived by a host of other family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at the College Hill Presbyterian Church, 5742 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45224 on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Jackie Jackson officiating. Cremation will be held.
