Carter, Betty J. age 82, of Mount Healthy, Ohio passed away on Monday, January 25, 2016. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 26, 1933 to Edward and Nettie Cockrell (nee Cook).
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Cockrell, Sr. and Nettie Cockrell; daughter, Vernetta Barnes. Betty is survived by her beloved children, Steve A. Carter, Anthony L. Carter; 3 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral Ceremony will be 11:00 am Friday, February 5, 2016 with a visitation from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - Northwest Chapel, 7830 Hamilton Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45231.
