The Life of a Wife, Mother, Aunt and Baby Sister
Sister Betty Sue Stewart (Cohen) was born on October 12, 1969 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late and great Bishop John T. Cohen and Mother Elizabeth Cohen. She departed this earthly life on Sunday, November 25, 2012 atJewish Hospital. Betty was the youngest girl of 10 children.
On May 23, 2008 Betty was united in Holy Matrimony to the "love of her life", Christopher Stewart, Sr. and from this union, on September 4, 2009 a handsome baby boy was born, Christopher Jr.
Betty grew up in the church, where her father was the pastor. She later joined Greater Emanuel Apostolic Temple under the leadership of Bishop Paul A. Bowers.
Betty attended the Cincinnati Public Schools and received her diploma from Withrow High School. She also attended Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, where she studied Social Work and Psychology.
There is so much we can say about Betty; she was goofy, funny, loving, kind and always a jokester, but most of all she loved her family and friends and would do anything to protect them.
She leaves to cherish her precious, loving memories, her husband, Christopher Stewart; one son, Christopher Jr; two stepdaughters, Kyra and Remy Stewart; brothers, Johnny, Paul, Steven, Timothy, Douglas; sisters, Kathleen (John), Kristina, Joan; a host of nephews and nieces; best friend, Tammy and other relatives and friends.
