Beverley Jean Murdock was born the third child of Raymond Albert and the late Lucy Ann Murdock on December 14, 1957.
A Time to plant
Beverley was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and graduated from Woodward High School. She also attended Southwestern College where she studied business management.
On the 30th day of March, 1997, Beverley was baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. She loved the Lord with all her heart and soul. This was evidenced by her witnessing and ministry works. She was a very active and hard worker at her church, New Jerusalem Baptist Church. She taught Bible Study and Sunday School classes as well as being an active member of various ministries.
Beverley's strong faith provided her with love and guidance and helped carry her through life's challenges.
Beverly was a generous and loving person. She was devoted to her family and enjoyed her family gatherings like those in her favorite movie "Soul Food". She was known for her humorous spirit and touched many people by sending cards and writing letters.

A Time to Journey home
Beverley was preceded in death by her mother, Lucy and two sisters, Linda and Teresa, who are all waiting for her.
She leaves to cherish her memories: her father, Raymond Murdock, Sr.; her two daughters, Crystal and Tashawna (Kofi); a son, Richard (Kimarr); sisters, Sharon (Leodis) and Toye; brother, Raymond Murdock, Jr.; five grandchildren, Charlise, Jaziah, Malachi, Jordan, and Richard Jr.; best friends, Terri Jones, and Donna Hall; a host of nieces , nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
