Billy Ray Robinson

Billy Ray Robinson, a devoted husband, uncle, and respected member of his community, passed away on March 20, 2025, in Edgewood, Kentucky. Born on January 9, 1950, in Covington, Kentucky, Billy lived a life marked by dedication to family and a commitment to his profession and community.

After attending Dayton High School, from which he graduated in 1968, Billy went on to earn a bachelor's degree from Northern Kentucky University. His career at the US Postal Service spanned over four decades, beginning with a co-op position during his high school years in Information Technology. He served the postal service from 1966 until his retirement in 2009, embodying dedication and responsibility throughout his career.

Billy was a man of deep commitment to his family, especially to his beloved wife of 54 years, Alberta Robinson (nee Spangler). He cherished and loved his numerous nieces and nephews dearly, who were an essential part of his life and brought him immense joy.

An active member of his community, Billy was also a Mason and belonged to E.T. Carson Lodge #598. His interests included watching NASCAR, a pastime he enjoyed deeply - rooting for Jeff Gordon and Harry Gant. He also enjoyed participating in a fantasy football league.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Martha Helen Robinson (nee Graves), whose memory he held dear throughout his life.

Billy Ray Robinson's legacy will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. Visitation will take place on March 28, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, followed by a funeral and Masonic service at 12:30 PM, both held at Newcomer Funeral Home in Erlanger, Kentucky. Burial will take place immediately following at Floral Hills Memorial Garden in Taylor Mill.
