Bob Burger, age 73, of Colerain Township, Ohio passed away on Friday, June 26, 2020.
He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on December 17, 1946 to William and Bessie Burger (nee Dawes).
He was a Veteran of the United States Navy having served during the Vietnam War. Bob was an avid fisherman, enjoyed camping, and he loved being in the outdoors. Bob was active with his local AMVets and VFW posts, where he previously volunteered at their fish fry's and turkey shoots. He dearly loved his wife, kids and grandkids.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and father-in-law, Santo Altimari, Jr.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Sharon Burger; daughter, Dena (Paul) Rattermann; sons, Doug (Kathy) Burger, and Rob (Margo) Burger; grandchildren, Stephanie Archdeacon, Megan Archdeacon, Rylie Burger, Caitlin Burger, Anthony Burger, and Bobby Burger; brother, Ken (Diane) Burger; sister, Nancy (Skip) Feldman; mother-in-law, Mary Altimari; sisters-in-law, Janice (Roger) Chapman, Barbara (Don Schiele) Altimari, and Lori (Bill) Sunberg; brother-in-law, Santo Altimari; his dog, Pug; and a host of other family members and friends.
In loving memory of Robert, contributions may be made to either the AMVets Post OH-1988, the VFW Gailey Post #7340, or the American Diabetes Association.
Due to the circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the family will hold a celebration of life at a later date.
