Brenda Sue Landrum, a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, passed away on February 10, 2025, in Edgewood, Kentucky. Born on August 12, 1941, in Covington, Kentucky, she lived a life full of love, warmth, and dedication to her family and community. Brenda was a retired nurse from St. Elizabeth Hospital, known for her compassionate care and commitment to helping others.

Brenda embodied the essence of joy and love. Her personality shone brightly in every interaction, characterized by a loving, fun spirit that attracted many to her. She was a proud mother to her children, Tammy (Joe) Landrum, Jennifer (Harry) Long, Brian Landrum, and Debbie (Ron) Wilson, who cherished the moments spent with their devoted mother. Brenda was not only a mother but also a nurturing grandmother to her grandchildren—Paula, Amber, Joey, Briann, Kendra, Mackenzie, Elizabeth, Justin, Hannah, Alex, Katelyn, Hayley, Maddie, Grace, Krysti, Trey, Mallory, Mikey—and a doting great-grandmother to Jayce, Jaxon, Jordan, Connor, Brycen, Joey, Evelyn, Jerimiah, Benjamin, Micha, Finley, Coltin, Harper, Theresa, Lizzy, Quintin, Aaliyah, Kiki, Jaymar, Otis, Kaysan, and Hawa; and great-great-grandmother to Kash. Each grandchild carried a piece of her heart, and they will forever treasure the memories made alongside their beloved Granny.

Brenda was a proud Navy veteran, a chapter of her life that showcased her determination and love for her country. Throughout her life, she enjoyed traveling, particularly going on cruises anywhere tropical. She cherished trips to the Smokies with her late husband, Robert, creating lasting memories under the sun and stars. Furthermore, she found joy in going to the casino with her brother and sister, where laughter echoed over the sound of the slots.

Her strength and love extended to her siblings, Rosie Caldwell and Terry (Debbie) Vannarsdall. Brenda maintained a close bond with her family, always ensuring they felt her warmth and support.

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, John Clark and Myrtle Vannarsdall (nee Wilson), and her husband, Robert Landrum. Their love story was a testament to the power of companionship, one that Brenda carried in her heart until her last breath.
