Brenda Marie Thompson

Brenda Marie Thompson, age 66, of Loveland, Ohio, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2025. Born on November 10, 1958, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the cherished daughter of Henry and Dorothy Young (nee Steeley).

Brenda was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Dorothy Young; father, Henry Young; and siblings, Carrie Adkins, Clifford Young, and Rena Abercrombie. She is survived by her devoted husband of 40 years, Robert Thompson; son, Derek Joseph (Christy) Thompson, grandson, Broody Thompson; brother, Kenny Young, nephew, Narvel Lee Adkins, nephew, Tim Adkins, nephew, Steve Young, niece, Sherry Hoffman-Reece, nephew, Scott Young, niece, Lisa Young, niece, Angela Ferneding, niece, LaDonna Abercrombie, niece, Noel Abercrombie, nephew, Matthew Abercrombie, niece, Rena Norton, niece, Minta Abercrombie, niece, Anna Abercrombie, nephew, Mark Abercrombie, niece, Shannon Young, niece, Natalie Sang, nephew, Ben Singer, nephew, Mark Singer, Niece, Allison Singer; spiritual daughter, Danielle Devita and an extended family that includes a host of other relatives and friends who will greatly miss her.

A passionate animal lover, Brenda dedicated herself to rescuing dogs and treating them with the utmost care. She also held a significant role within her church community, where she took the most pride. Above all, Brenda treasured the moments spent with her family, creating lasting memories that will be cherished by all who knew her.
