Brett David Morehouse

Brett David Morehouse born March 26, 1968 went to be with his Lord on January 24, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his father, Brett James Morehouse. Survived by his mother Monica Morehouse Payne, of Florence Kentucky his son Jerric D. Parcell of Florence, Colorado along with grandchildren Tyler, Kaitlyn, Lilyana and Scarlett and sister Missy McCormick of New Smyrna Beach, Florida.

Brett attended high school in Akron, OH where he played football. Upon graduating he enlisted in the Army for one enlistment. The family then moved to the Northern KY area where he became involved in several charitable organizations, such as the Sunday Morning Club, helping with the planning of the annual Christmas dinner held in Covington KY each year. Brett also became involved with the American Legion Post 4 in Florence, KY where he held several post and district offices such as 1st Vice at Post 4. He also served as Judge Advocate for Post 4, held office of ^th district vice commander for 2 years then held the position of District Commander for one year. As well as being a member of the post 4 Honor Guard.

Brett enjoyed throwing darts as well and was very good at his hobby well enough to be the DONKY association president for several years. Over the years Brett ventured into many fields of business until becoming a Chemical Technician/Blender for a major Flavoring Company in Florence KY.


A visitation will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023 from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm with a service to follow at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018. A celebration of Brett's life will be held at American Legion Post 4 8385 US 42 Florence, KY on Sunday February 26, 2023 at 2:00 pm.
