Bruce A. Reed, age 74, of Cincinnati, OH, passed into eternal life on June 5, 2023 after a brief illness.
He was preceded in death by his father, a WWII Veteran, Alvin S. Reed, his mother, Margaret F. Reed (nee Dryer) and his sister, Roseanne (the late JP Hines) Reed.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sandra Reed (nee Walter). He leaves behind his children, Erica (Ron) Mason, Matthew (Stacey) Reed and Elizabeth Reed. He is grandfather to Leah, William and Audrey Mason and Reagan, Case and Laina Reed. He is also survived by his brothers Ron (Sue) Reed, Dennis Reed and sister, Elaine Reed. He will be missed by his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
He was a proud graduate of St. Henry High School Erlanger, KY and the University of Cincinnati.
Bruce treasured his family above all else, especially the time he got to spend with his grandkids. He also enjoyed working in the yard, watching the birds from the deck (that he built himself!) and poker nights with his high school buddies. He was involved in his parish festival, mastering The Ring Toss booth for many summers.
Bruce worked at the Cincinnati Freezer for 22 years and then at Frisch's Company until he retired in 2014.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday July 15, 2023 at St. Bartholomew Parish, 9375 Winton Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45231, at 11:00 AM. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. Private burial to be held at a later date.
