Bruce Edward Setty, 62, entered into eternal life on the afternoon of Wednesday, January 23, 2019.
Born in Milford, Ohio, to Elizabeth 'Libby' (nee Agin) and Charles 'Pat' Setty, he graduated from Milford High School in 1974, went on to study literature at Ohio State University where he graduated with honors, and then did graduate studies at the University of Cincinnati. He was also an accomplished pianist and worked for many years as a medical transcriptionist, but never lost his love for literature.
He leaves behind brothers Glenn and Dale, Dale's wife Helen, nephews Michael and his wife Miranda, Jason, and Jeremy and his wife Sarah. He was a friend to all and will be missed by many.
He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Maronite Catholic Church in Walnut Hills which dedicated their library to him and presented him with the Monsignor Joseph Abood Recognition Award for Dedication and Service. A mass will be held there for him Tuesday, January 29th at 6 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church, 2530 Victory Parkway, Cincinnati, Ohio 45206. Arrangements are entrusted to the care of Newcomer Family Funeral Home, Erlanger, KY. Messages of condolences may be left for the family at www.newcomercremation.com
