Bruce Vanness McGee, 35, of Memphis, Tennessee, was called home to the Lord on Wednesday, December 25, 2013.
He was born to Terry Len Johnson and Johnny McGee July 30, 1978. He was raised by Terry Len Sechrest and Jacob Sechrest since 1985 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Bruce graduated from Messick Adult Education in 2010 and received his diploma and license in H-VAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) from Remington College in 2011. He married Allison Janine Duling from Cincinnati, Ohio. They relocated to Memphis, Tennessee.
Bruce was a cook, entrepreneur in music, and a street minister spreading the word and the love of God. He was passionate about his music, different foods, making a difference in the lives of other people and his children. He embraced being the center of attention to make people laugh and feel good about any and everything. Bruce had scriptures for any issue or situation that had you bound.
Bruce is survived by 4 children, Bruce McGee II, Saint'terrelenn McGee, and Bishop-Da'Nezz McGee of Memphis, Tennessee, and Jasmine Tarver of Covington, Kentucky; six brothers and four sisters, Jacob, Maurice ,Charles III, Monique, Ty, Russell, Stephanie, Johnny, Verneice and De'Amber, all of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters and two brothers from another mother and father, Sabrina Tombs, Tiffany Keith, Richard and Robert Binford, all of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandmother, Dorothy Williams; grandfather, Benny Johnson; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
