Bruce M. Zimmer

Bruce M. Zimmer, age 62, of Cheviot, Ohio, peacefully passed away on September 6, 2024. Born on October 25, 1961, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Bruce was the beloved son of Charles H. and Cora Zimmer (nee Johnson).

Bruce is preceded in death by his father, Charles H.; his mother, Cora Zimmer; and his brothers, Chester and William B. Zimmer.

He is survived by his cherished children, Crystal (Lena) Williams, Amanda Zimmer, Anthony Zimmer, and Jessica L. Runyon. He took great pride in being a loving grandfather to eight grandchildren: Chloe Zimmer, Fayth Courtney, Jackson Runyon, Hayden Courtney, Joshua Merida, Cordell Williams,  Blake Zimmer and Lucas Zimmer. Bruce is also survived by his brother, Charles A. Zimmer, his sister, Evelyn D. (Miles) Miller, also by his girlfriend Theresa Scott, who was by his side during his battle with cancer;  and a multitude of other family members and friends who loved him dearly.

Bruce had a passion for music and enjoyed dancing, which brought him joy throughout his life. He was a man that enjoyed working with his hands, especially painting. His greatest joy came from caring for his family, especially his grandchildren, with whom he shared countless special moments.

In loving memory of Bruce, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice. A funeral ceremony will be held at 11:30 am on Monday, September 16, 2024, with a visitation from 10:30 am to 11:30 am at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals and Receptions, located at 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211.
