Carl Jacob Hasselbeck, age 85, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021. He was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on October 12, 1936 to the late Carl and the late Anna Hasselbeck (nee Ploeger).
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean (nee Gasdorf) Hasselbeck.
Carl is the father of Jennifer (Donald) Huber, Greg (Cara) Hasselbeck and Julie (John) Schinner.
He is the grandfather of Drew and Katelyn Huber; Lauren Hasselbeck; Benjamin, Jacob, Austin and the late Logan Schinner.
Carl is the brother of the late Joseph Hasselbeck, the late Vera Schweikert, the late Albert Hasselbeck, the late Thelma Bottoni, the late Anna Mae Melzer, the late John Hasselbeck, the late Rita Porter, Dolores San Miguel, Mary Tebelman and Arlene Hatcher. He leaves behind many other family members and friends.
Visitation will be in the Gathering Space of St Dominic Church, Tuesday, January 4, 2022 beginning at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00 AM. Burial, with Military Honors, will follow in New St. Joseph Cemetery. The family has requested that guests wear masks to the visitation and mass.
In loving memory of Carl, contributions may be made to St Jude Children's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN (38105), to a local or national Veterans organization or to the charity of your choice.
