Carol Sue Behery

Carol Sue Behery, lovingly remembered for her kind heart and gentle spirit, peacefully passed away on June 24 2024, in Edgewood, Kentucky. She was born on November 22 1955, in Cleveland, Ohio, to her parents Virland and Mabel Vealey (nee Richards).

Carol had a passion for life that was evident in everything she did. Her hobbies included traveling to many places, spending quality time with her family and grandchildren, and indulging in crafting activities that brought out her creativity. She volunteered with many ministries and loved to serve the Lord.

In her final moments, Carol was surrounded by her loving family as she transitioned peacefully.

She was preceded in death by her father, Virland Vealey; mother, Mabel Vealey; and daughter, Sarai Thomas.

Carol leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories for her surviving family and friends. She is survived by her beloved husband, Essam Behery; daughters, Stacie (Roy) Wood and Victoria Quinn; son, Michael (Stephanie) Vealey; grandchildren, Willis Nottingham, Wyatt Nottingham, Abigail Wood, Diahna (Grainger Rogers) Wood and Roy Wood III; great-granddaughter Berkley Rogers; brother-in-law Medhat Behery; sister-in-law Ebtesam Behery; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members and friends who will deeply miss her presence.

The services to honor Carol's life will be held at the Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Hwy. Erlanger, KY 41018. A visitation will take place on July 13, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM followed by a memorial service at 5:00 PM

Carol Sue Behery's memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in peace knowing the impact of her kindness and love will continue to live on in the lives she touched.
