Carolyn S. Jesse

Carolyn S. Jesse, age 78, of Burlington, Kentucky, peacefully passed away on Wednesday, April 2, 2025. Born on April 23, 1946, in West Virginia, she was the daughter of Willard and Garnet Darensburg (née Honaker).

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Irvin Steffen, her second husband James Jesse, and her brother James "Jimmy" Walker. 

She leaves behind her beloved daughter Penny (Ronald) Brackett, her son Paul Steffen, her sisters Jennifer Vice and Nancy Roysden, as well as a host of other family members and friends who will cherish her memory.

Throughout her life, Carolyn found joy in a variety of hobbies including coloring, creating hook rugs, knitting, crocheting, and solving word puzzles. She particularly loved the companionship of her cat, Eva, but above all, she cherished the time spent with her family.

 A funeral ceremony is scheduled for 12:30 PM on Thursday, April 17, 2025, with visitation beginning at 11:30 AM, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, located at 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018.
