Carolyn passed away on Monday, May 21, 2012 at her Residence. She was born on August 22, 1933 in Oxford, North Carolina to Garland Hester and Glossie Jane Hester. She was an active member of Quinn Chapel AME Church.
She is survived by her son, Ellsworth Johnson of Fairfield; son, Waverly Kent( Marla) Johnson, Rahway, New Jersey; daughter, Melvinia J. (Norman)Smith of Fairfield; son, Hosea B. Johnson of Rockway, New York. Grandchildren Terrence, Eric, Kevin, Shanita and Great grandson Aaris Smith. Sister Ann (John) Allen, special friend Carol Glover, As well as a host of family and friends.
Funeral service for Carolyn Robena Johnson, age 78 of Fairfield, will be Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 4:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home - Hamilton Chapel. Robert Blum will officiate. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 26, 2012 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Newcomer Funeral Home - Hamilton Chapel.
