Maurer, Carolyn L. age 68, of Cincinnati, Ohio passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2020. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on May 25, 1952 to Aloysius B. Cordes and Joan Hazel Messer (nee Rieder).
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Thomas McGill; and her brother, Tom Cordes. Carolyn is survived by her beloved husband, Art Valentino; her daughter, Jennifer (Ron) Schuler; her step-sons, Anthony (Paula) Valentino and Nicholas (Heather) Valentino; her step-daughters, Angela (Gary) Hauger, Christina (Craig Bennett) Johnson and Rose (Matt Vilaboy) Valentino; her brother, Ren Messer; her sister, Sallie (Denny) Westfelt; her granchildren, Adam and Jacob Schuler and Breonna McGill; her step-grandchildren, Taryn, Jacob, Anthony, Dominic, Austin, Tyler, Lauren, Eva, Maya, Mila, Lily and Rocco; and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - West Side Chapel, 3300 Parkcrest Lane, Cincinnati, Ohio 45211. A graveside service will follow at St. Joseph New Cemetery, 4500 Foley Road, Cincinnati, OH 45238.
