Carolyn M. Sawyers

Carolyn Marie Sawyers, age 78 of Crittenden Kentucky passed away September 9, 2022 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 8, 1943 in Huntington, West Virginia to the late John and Pluma Ransbottom (nee Taylor).


She is preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Ronald L. Sawyers. She is survived by her children; Margaret Robbins (Bobby), Ronald E. Sawyers (Rhonda), Kathy Leming (Mark);

Her 8 grandchildren- Jerry, Amy, Renee, Trisha, Brent, Brittany, Josh, Cody; 18 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and 4 siblings.


Carolyn loved playing bingo and could often be found pulling the lever of a slot machine, cruising the aisles of Kroger, or making the best no bake cookies you would ever eat. She was the life of the party and never met a stranger. Carolyn loved nothing more than spending time with her family who are feeling an extreme loss by her passing.

Funeral Ceremony will be 1:00 pm Thursday, September 15, 2022 with a visitation from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Northern Kentucky Chapel, 4350 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 3227 Dixie Highway, Erlanger, Kentucky 41018
