Switzer, Carolyn B. age 90, of Fairfield, Ohio, formerly of Toledo, Ohio and Allen, Michigan passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2020. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on May 19, 1929 to John and Marie Powell (nee Monte).
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald Switzer; 6 siblings. Carolyn is survived by her beloved children, Dale (Kay) Switzer, Lori (Gary) Vidmar, Diane Switzer, Mark (Christine) Switzer; grandchildren, Amy Switzer, Eric (Bridget) Switzer, Brandon Tankersley, Alyssa (Chris) Angel, Jenny (Tony) Lee, Stephanie (Jeremy) Allnutt, Cole Switzer; great-grandchildren, Maddelynn, Megan, Molly, Ethan, Tanner, Isabella, Dillon, Lilleigh; and a host of other family members and friends.
In addition to the love she had for her family, Carolyn/Mom loved buying and selling antiques, shopping and negotiating the deal, refinishing a piece that seemed beyond repair, woodworking, laying floors, you name it she could do it and loved every moment spent. However, above all, Carolyn/Mom loved talking. She will be dearly remembered for sharing her creative ideas and extraordinary talent. She taught us all how to be strong and persevere. She was the epitome of hard work and achievement. Her parents raised her well and will now take her back into the fold.
