Cathryn Deverne Shelton

Cathy was born on September 17, 1962, to the late Lamar and Victoria Shelton in Tampa, Florida. After her transition with her parents, she began living with her aunt. In 2002, Cathy moved to Cincinnati, Ohio with her sister, Carolyn.

While working at Jackson Center in 2006, Cathy and her family met the late Tony Bailey. Tony introduced them to New Vision Missionary Baptist Church, where Cathy joined in 2008. Cathy and her family later moved to College Hill and Cathy had to transfer her employment from Jackson Center to Beckman Center, where she was employed until her untimely death.

She leaves to mourn two sisters, Carolyn and Faye; three brothers, Ronnie (Dolly) of South Carolina, Michael (Brenda) of Florence and Delton of Florida; three nephews Chris (Dameika) of Atlanta, Hanson of South Carolina and Deyrick (Angela) of Memphis; five nieces, Dieadra, Takisha, Victoria, Janessa and Jonae and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends and her special friend Butchie Hamler.
